Privacy Policy

The Client/User is informed of the regulations concerning marketing communication, the law of June 21, 2014 for confidence in the Digital Economy, the Data Protection Act of August 6, 2004 as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: n° 2016-679).
The Seller processes the Customer/User's data in accordance with the regulations on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of data called the "general data protection regulation" (GDPR).

Management and protection of personal data
1. Responsible for the collection of personal data

For Personal Data collected in particular as part of the creation of the personal account, navigation on the site, processing of Orders and monitoring of commercial relations, the person responsible for processing Personal Data is: Buci.

As the controller of the data it collects, Buci undertakes to comply with the framework of the legal provisions in force. In particular, it is its responsibility to establish the purposes of its data processing, to provide its prospects and customers, from the collection of their consents, with complete information on the processing of their personal data and to maintain a register of processing in accordance with reality.
Whenever Buci processes Personal Data, Buci takes all reasonable steps to ensure that the Personal Data is accurate and relevant to the purposes for which Buci processes it.

2. Purpose of the data collected

Buci may process all or part of the data:

  • to enable navigation on the site and the management and traceability of the services and benefits ordered by the Customer: connection and site usage data, invoicing, order history, etc. The Seller will use in particular the Customer/User's email address for an automated device called shopping cart abandonment for 14 days during which the Customer/User is likely to receive emails from the Seller to remind Customers/Users of the presence of an uncompleted purchase.

  • to prevent and combat computer fraud (spamming, hacking, etc.): computer equipment used for browsing, IP address, password (hashed)

  • to improve navigation on the site: connection and usage data

  • to conduct optional satisfaction surveys: email address

  • to conduct communication campaigns, invitations to events (SMS, email): telephone number, email address. The Client is free to refuse any direct prospecting at any time by notifying it in writing to the following address bonjour@buci-paris.com

Buci does not market the personal data of the Customer/User which are therefore only used out of necessity or for statistical and analysis purposes. In application of law 78-17 of January 6, 1978 amended by law n°2018-493 of June 20, 2018, it is recalled that the personal data requested from the Customer/User are necessary for the processing of his order and the establishment of invoices, in particular.

3. Right of access, rectification and opposition

In accordance with current European regulations, Customers/Users of the site have the following rights:

  • right of access (article 15 GDPR) and rectification (article 16 GDPR), updating, completeness of User data right to block or erase User personal data (article 17 GDPR), when they are inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, outdated, or whose collection, use, communication or conservation is prohibited

  • right to withdraw consent at any time (article 13-2c GDPR)

  • right to limit the processing of User data (article 18 GDPR)

  • right to object to the processing of User data (article 21 GDPR)

  • right to the portability of data that Users have provided, when this data is subject to automated processing based on their consent or on a contract (article 20 GDPR)

  • right to define the fate of Users' data after their death and to choose to whom Buci must communicate (or not) their data to a third party that they have previously designated

As soon as Buci becomes aware of the death of a User/Customer and in the absence of instructions from them, Buci undertakes to destroy their data, unless their retention proves necessary for evidentiary purposes or to meet a legal obligation.

If the User/Client wishes to know how Buci uses his/her Personal Data, request to rectify them or object to their processing, the User/Client may contact Buci in writing at the following address: BUCI 101 RUE DE SEVRES LOT 1665 75272 PARIS CEDEX 06 or bonjour@buci-paris.com
In this case, the User/Client must indicate the Personal Data that he/she would like Buci to correct, update or delete, by identifying himself/herself precisely with a copy of an identity document (identity card or passport).
Requests for deletion of Personal Data will be subject to the obligations imposed on Buci by law, in particular with regard to the retention or archiving of documents. Finally, Users/Customers may file a complaint with the supervisory authorities, in particular the CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes).

4. Non-communication of personal data

Buci prohibits itself from processing, hosting or transferring the Information collected on its Customers/Users to a country located outside the European Union or recognized as "inadequate" by the European Commission without first informing the Customer/User. However, Buci remains free to choose its technical and commercial subcontractors on the condition that it presents sufficient guarantees with regard to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: No. 2016-679).

Buci undertakes to take all necessary precautions to preserve the security of the Information and in particular to ensure that it is not communicated to unauthorized persons. However, if an incident impacting the integrity or confidentiality of the Customer/User's Information is brought to the attention of Buci, the latter must inform the Customer/User as soon as possible and communicate the corrective measures taken. Furthermore, Buci does not collect any "sensitive data". The processing of information communicated via the website meets the legal requirements regarding the protection of personal data, the information system used ensuring optimal protection of this data.

Within the limits of their respective attributions and for the purposes mentioned above, the data may be communicated to the Seller's potential partners responsible for managing the site, executing, processing, managing and paying for orders, in particular carriers (UPS, Chronopost, La Poste.) and the one responsible for hosting the website (the company IONOS) as well as customer service agents.

Cookies

The Customer/User expressly authorizes the Seller to place a file called a “cookie” on the Customer/User’s hard drive, and gives his/her consent by checking the “Yes” box and then clicking on “Accept” when browsing the Seller’s website.

A "cookie" is a small information file sent to the Client/User's browser and saved on the Client/User's terminal (e.g. computer, smartphone). The purpose of this "cookie" is to facilitate the collection of statistics, the recognition of the Client/User and their identification. The cookie records information relating to the Client/User's browsing on the Seller's website, such as the Client/User's domain name, the Client/User's Internet access provider, the Client/User's operating system, as well as the date and time of access. Cookies do not in any way risk damaging the Client/User's terminal. This data is strictly intended for internal use and is not communicated to third parties.

Some cookies are advertising cookies that allow Buci to record the products viewed in order to present advertising banners in accordance with the interests of the Customer/User.
If the Customer/User refuses the registration of Cookies in his terminal or browser, or if the Customer/User deletes those registered there, the Customer/User is informed that his navigation and experience on the site may be limited. This could also be the case when Buci or one of its service providers cannot recognize, for technical compatibility purposes, the type of browser used by the terminal, the language and display settings or the country from which the terminal appears to be connected to the Internet. At any time, the User/Customer may choose to express and modify his wishes regarding Cookies.

Finally, by clicking on the icons dedicated to social networks appearing on the site or in its mobile application and if the Client/User has accepted the deposit of cookies by continuing to browse the site or the mobile application, these networks can also deposit cookies on the Client/User's terminals (computer, tablet, mobile phone).
